that sucks though. gotta ask, why no generators or backups???

I've been planning to get generators since 5 years ago. Never got around to actually doing it. Went through 2004 and 2005, the worst years for hurricanes around here, and never had this kind of fish kill. Went through Hurricane Wilma and 3 days of no electricity and lost less than a dozen fries.

I had another tank which was more heavily stocked than this one and no loss on that tank. I just never got around to equipping the tank with the extra aerators needed for the amount of stocking after it was moved inside the garage for this type of situations.

Also had many tanks of Angels in the same space and suffered no losses with them.
