Wow!! Can't narrow down the species. I've only seen that color combo in Aulacocephalus temminckii, the goldstripe soapfish. But, the yellow pectorals aren't part of the species coloration.

Fishes: Good find. I looked that one up but only turned up the juvie coloration.

4,000 gallon tank at the Newmarket big als. Grouper is about 2 foot long and I'm guessing weighs close 40 pounds give or take.

a 2' grouper is more in the 10-15lb range

Oh Yea he's still in the tank. There's now 2 black tip reef sharks in with him. He's probably in between 30-40" now. Its massive
