if you sell off your current stock for no logical reason, you've wasted money, time and more. you will live to regret it. what brought this on, boredom? i really don't understand.

yea, the problem is you need another tank lol

I said other. I would get rid of your more common stuff (not alot that's common) Like your smaller irwini (keep the largest), clown kinfe, tem, and use that cash to get in a black ray. or since your in the Uk you can get asian aros right?

I'm with Koop, sometimes a little change can go a long way. Do some swapping with the fish your the most tired of. Someone else may be thrilled to have them and you get to host a new guy. The fish might want to travel anyway, don't smother them.

I agree with koop as well

trade off the common fish and go for the rare.

I get bored quickly with fish as well. Exspecially if everytime I look online several people have the same fish. And every pet shop you go to has the same fish you have at home. This was the main reason i got out of cichlids.

But once you get a group of fish that very few people have. There is a special feeling that comes with that and it keeps you interested.

if your that attached to your fish, i would just keep going with what i have, maybe start putting money to the side for a secondary setup?

I think what brought this on was the fact that i would like to keep some other different fish but dont have room for any more tanks and i am very short on money atm so if i could sell them and have a species tank i could pocket a lot of money.
Im really not sure ill ever sell them, these were just thoughts. I have also tried selling off some of the less rare stuff like a 12" syno decorus, the temensis and my two 12"+ Silver sharks but nobody will have them, even at stupidly low prices and i dont want to take them to my lfs because thats just cruel once their used to a big tank.
Maybe ill try selling them again and have a little mix up.

Voted.

Thats a good collection.

if you had to get rid of the fish you don't like (to me this means more than just getting rid of the common ones, since you can be attached to a common fish) and replace with other compatible fish that you might be considering.
