Very informative article on nitrogen cycle

Here are some of the links that the article used as source material for anyone wanting those.

Ammonia Toxicity to Freshwater Fish: http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/freshwater-articles/bacteria-freshwater-aquarium-74891/ I like the one I linked for easier to read pH/temp data, but this one is also good. What it DOES have is a nice chart showing exposure time and potential lethality which is quite valuable.

Nitrospira- Like Bacteria Associated with Nitrite Oxidation in Freshwater Aquaria: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC124703/ Looks above my head, but I'm going to try to read it later!

Nitrogen Cycle and Aquarium & Pond Cycling http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/nitrogen_cycle.html
Looks like a good read also, but not too technical.

Reference 2 and 4 were abstracts, so the author may used access to those. Reference 5 was posted earlier in the thread (2 links to Oscarfish.)

Great read.. and the nitrogen cycle and all encompased in it is someonething I don't think any fishkeeper can ever know enough about.
