Just wait a bit. Some cichlids take a couple trys before they get it right. As for your female being fertile, if a female fish lays eggs, its fertile. It's probably the Vieja's part. Good luck, you should get some very nice looking Kamfas from this pair.
So, She laid eggs again on Thursday, and woke up this morning to a little pile of little hatchlings 
Looks like about 60% hatch rate. I will probably leave them with mom for a day or so and then seperate most of them into a seperate tank.
