I have 6 Red Belied Piranhas that are about 2 inches long and put in a Silver Dollar that was about the same size and they get along great. Any thing I put in there got ripped apart and still does but the Dollar just swims around with them and now adapted and eats meat like them. I find this kid of behavior and ability to adapt amazing. Sorry just thought I would share haha.

Odd... I have heard of odd combinations working for a period of time though. Let us know how long it survives.

It has already been about 2 months. Sorry for not clarifying in the first post.

yeah i heard pacu live with them in the shoals when young.

Yeah they are very closley related but I am shocked that they did not eat it when it hit the water. And to me the most shocking part is the fact that the Silver Dollar is now acting and eating like the piranhas.

If you knew your ass was gonna get eaten, wouldn't you try to "blend-in"?:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

I guess you should get it some dentures.
