Very mean jardini

What country are you from? Its because catfish are bottom dwellers Arowanas don't eat from the bottom but held captive they get drop eye because they look down for food rather than up like the wild.

Tank mates are possible I've always had tank mates with my jardini it's just a case of what works. Catfish work well if there hardy enough or armour plated they just get ignored (or will do eventually)

I would get the jardini its own tank or get a bigger tank.
