A hard puffer to care for mainly do to the fact that very little is know about there care requirements

As for care I would have to say that they are one of the strongest and simplest fish to own and don't think Im just saying that cause Im only trying to sell it.

I'm going to test your theory out with the FW archer I got from dodgers86.

I've seen dodgers86's collection and are really healthy so I know he must dedicate a lot of time on his fish. Buy with confidence. If I didn't already have a monster fish I would pick up that puffer.

man, that fish is gorgoeus! after all my sn is fugupuff, I should be getting it, I just don't have a tank set up for it just yet, and its a little out of my budget

My 3" dat was going after the 6" archer within the first 3 hours of greeting each other. I had to separate the dat into a separate tank. The archer is a bit shy and I have no see it eat. I'm not too concern since you've fatten that beast up for me. It's playing nicely with the other tankmates which is what I wanted. I like it so much that I went out and bought 5 more archers around 3".

Try to split the pellets in halve and then see if it gives in. If you get to worried about it getting skinny try some small minnows.
