ya just normal male. mine took on a kinda yellowish tint to him, and lost his stripes a lot, now he is 4.75".

Cool. Thanks for the help! I just did not know with him turning that yellowish color with theh red in the fins what it might be. But I still dont know why the egg keep turning white and dieing? I have not see them spawn every time I have found eggs but I did catch them once and I actually watched him make his passes over the eggs and release his milt, so I know he is atleast trying to fertilize the eggs, but they just keep dieing.
