Try dropping ISO to 100
F-stop at around 4-6
shutter speed 1/20-1/60
I shoot almost all of my pics with iso 100 f stop 4 to 8 and shutter speed from 1/8-1/60 depending lighting this will pick up more detail on the corals..
Fish will need a faster shuter speed of course (I'm still working on trying to get a good fish pic)
AND if your useing photoshop CS3 or CS4
try playing with "levels" and "curves"
this will adjust lighting by sections. dark, light and mid tones individually
the low iso doesnt take in enough light. and yea u can make up for it by lowering the fstop but then more of the coral will be out of focus.... its a trade off... depends what u like i guess
