im very sorry to hear about your loss
and i hope your other husky gets through this

not long ago i lost my husky aswell but my
bf got me a new one for chrissy

i hope the best for you !!

I am sorry for what you are going though, I am going though something similar with my dog right now.

Sorry to hear the bad news. I know how you feel. This is the most gut wrenching part of having pets. I have a 13 year old shepherd that probably needs to be put down, but I can't bring myself to do it yet. There's nothing that anybody can say that will make the decision easier, but I put down a 10+ year old great dane about 2 years ago, and it was incredibly quick and surprisingly peaceful. She just went to sleep about 20 seconds after the shot, and died peacefully in what seemed like less than 1 minute later. And I felt strangely releived afterwards because she wasn't sick anymore.

that's the worst. i got a bad case of major depression after i lost my dog. theres nothing like losing your best friend that was always there for you no matter what.

I do enjoy that fact that this site allows other pets, fish are pets but so are every other kept animal. I feel so sorry for you, we lost one of our cats in the summer and on Friday the wife came home to another one in a serious state, at weekends a emergency consultation is £110, she's hanging on in there, but I fear the worse.

Our German shepherd has been struggling with the back legs for 9 months, that will hurt like hell when the decision has to be made.....

So sorry

Thanks every one for the nice words. It helps.

Yeah I have a 15 year old outdoor cat and I just know his time is coming along as well. I sucks when they start to get older

I just hate that both of them didn't get to live a very long life. I'm guessing she was born with this or something. She just turned 5, and for it to be that big and major is just horrible to think about.

She has been getting really mean to Kodi the past two days. Also she hasn't been able to digest her food this past day either, what ever she eats comes back up whenever her stomach gets full. And when it does get full she is in pain and cries. We are thinking this mass is blocking her digestive system. They didn't mention that on the X-ray so we never knew. We are bringing her up there tomorrow more then likely so she isn't in anymore pain.

Thanks again everyone for the nice words.
