Hi guys , here is a fish that I unexpectedly found in an old ditch in my fruit orchard very close to the jungle.
I went there to collect fruits and usually didnt pay attention to the ditch as I thought that there was no fish like it was 10 years ago as it was cut off from the main body of water. But when I walked beside it, I saw movement among the sunken leaves in the ditch. After several minutes of stalking , I saw several channa gachuas in several spots , but one gachua looked injured . There was one big dominant gachua attacking anything including rasboras .
I used a stick to probe around to check the injured gachua. I thought it would disappear after being poked around instead it came nearer and toying around with the end of stick. I put a bucket that i hold in the water and thought , if you want to come with me , get in. It did .hehe
After 1 day in emergency aquarium , it already ate small centipede and several crickets . It was shy only for a few hours then was acting like a fish that Ive kept for quite some time. Very unique personality IMHO
As for the injury , i am treating with salt and ketapang leaves. Anymore opinions/tips are welcomed.
Sorry for the potato level camera phone
