VERY WORRIED!!!

Sorry I'm kinda confused, acclimate them to the substrate or to the water?

In case you are in a rush for this info I will answer this one for you.

Burbon means the water, some substrates can alter the water chemistry, coral gravel\sand being a prime example. Try and use a substrate that is inert (doesn't alter the make up of the water). Most aquarium sands and gravels are generally fine....just ask before purchasing.

Thank you however I used to live in Alaska and now I love in Thailand, so I can't speak any Thai. Do you have any recommendation on size? I was just thinking sand which is heavy enough not to stay suspended whatsoever in the water.

The coral you were using turned the waters pH. If you use sand or bare bottom the pH will be different.
Need to acclimate your rays to the new pH very slowly or you will harm them.
