There is a reason really smart people figured out that we need padding and extra arc in our shows. If you want to be more like cavemen so you can run barefoot, go ahead, but I wear shoes because they make my life easier .

I bought them awhile back because you can use the full-range of motion, isolating specific muscle functions in your lower extremity. In the long run, keeping mobility better, balance better, and overall function better rather than a flat shoe. Downside for me is SMELL. In a hot summer day after running or daily function in these shoe, your feet smells like crazy (this is after 3-4 months of regular use). NO, i don't have any foot fungus or athletes foot. I got annoyed of having to wash my feet every time I use this shoe, so stopped using it for now.

baking powder and washing tehm regularly will help alot.
and yea they are hard to find and even harder to find in your size.

but those "smart" people didnt think that your feet were made the way they are for a reason? they werent made for shoes or to be supported they were made to support you on there own.
these are no diff than normal shoes accept they allow your feet to work the way they were made to.

well they started in europe so im sure canada isnt that much more than the us. and here they are about 80-100 depending on what style fits you best.

i've been thinking about getting a pair of these. several of my friends have them and love them. one of my friends is a personal trainer at a gym and swears by them for weightlifting, running, etc.

the "shoes" do not support your foot, its the equivalent to wearing a rubber glove on your foot, according to there...poor...faq page.

They are great. Back when I was still with specwar I used them all the time, so did most of the guys I trained with. I used them to do a few 30-40mile runs with no real problems plus used them in the gym every day for both lifting and crossfit. A buddy of mine used them when he ran across Cali imperial beach to the Arizona boarder a few yrs back. The design of your foot is far more advanced than even the latest shoes....and they don't look as dumb as those shoes with the zig-zaggy soles.
