Vibram Five Finger shoes

I got a pair of these today. They are AWESOME. The feeling of individual toe action in a shoe is like no other. I'll report tomorrow how they feel while running, but just a bit of walking around today was great.

Those things freak me out!! I think it adds a little frutaciousness to a dudes persona as well ...imo...

how do they make things better than any other shoe? i know what they have that is different, but what makes it better?

I can't stand to wear sandals, never liked having material wedged between my toes!

I don't think these would be good shoes for strenous or athletic activities. With a typical shoe, the stresses encountered are spread out amongst all your toes (for the most part). With these shoes, I can see broken toes becomming pretty common.
