Man aren't you guys glad we pay for our highly trained police officers to be recognize and appropriately react to threats. Seriously who let this guy through the academy, pepper spraying a baby squirrel is rediculous. That was a very threatening squirrel, all I have to say thank goodness it wasn't a dog. He might of had to call SWAT for something that crazy, one could only imagine.
 
Squirrels normally run away from people. It was probably sick maybe rabies. That cop did the right thing. Yeah maybe he should have called animal control to catch it but if it was your kids being threatened by an animal I am sure you would have done what had to be done to protect them.
