Aros will certainly bite if they are hungry enough. I hand feed my 10" silver krill to make sure he eats before my peacock bass, and he is pretty wild for the first two bites. Despite the fact that I am barely pinching the krill, and my fingers are out of the water, he still manages to bite my fingers. After a couple of bites, though, he settles down and is much more gentle.
My RTC on the other hand is a gentle giant. He's 9" long and is ever so gentle when he sucks the krill out of my fingers. It's amazing to see, because he is normally such an animal when he eats.

That is sweet!!! My big black would eat out of my hand....He started to get way too agressive and really splashed and tore the food rigt out of my fingers...I started to use tongs after that....lol....
