weird , Mine has always been friendly. When I come home he comes up to the glass to greet me and sometimes I swear he's smiling. Joe, I bet yours are scared since most are wild caught. This little guy has been around humans since day 1.
Wild caught get startle way too easy. Sometimes they'll go on hunger strike for a day or two just because I add a new bichir tankmate. I have my angels that I can hand feed.
