ive had my one female for about a year and she was very small (4 or 5 inches) when i got her. oh, shes about 12 or 13 inches across now.

my new male will only take crawlers too.

u better set up a drip on ur new tank. water changes suck:irked:
 
I was talking with John over at ECZS and he had a male that would be a PERFECT match for the new girl (looks alot like a pearl) that I want to get. I'm not really trying too hard to sell him though.
 
What I was saying is rather than breeding the male offspring of the female back to her to get more awesome look rays, if you started with a better looking male (more comparable to the colour the female) the offspring would already be a step ahead.

Any idea which river/county these rays would've originated? I'd love to get in touch with an exporter from the area and bring in some for myself.
 
The really nice female is CB and the other two I got from Mike over at H20.

I still dont see what you are saying though. If I breed her offspring back with her there is a better chance I will get pups that will look more like her.

I have a long time to worry about that cause she wont be ready for another 6-12 months at the soonest.
 
I know what he is saying but I want more of he traits to come out and by breeding her back with her offspring you will have a better chance at that. The male I have now aint too bad either. :)
