Video of spastic midas

That wasn't a very spastic run, he gets absolutely nuts. Both computers were on so there was still quite a bit of light in the room. I'll have to do another when he's really crazy (and the room really dark). Then turn the light on and he's back to normal.

Haha, that is funny. My white midas does the same thing so maybe it does have to do with his color. I have the same issue though, no aggression or any interest in the mirror, but random spazzes like him. Often when the lights go off I will go over after hearing lots of bangs and it is just him whipping from one side of the tank to the other hitting things. Weird.

That was great, I have had some that get excited once they see their reflections but I can't remember it being that extreme. Thanks for sharing.

On aside note, what size tank is that? It is a beautiful tank and looks to have great dimesions.

I think it's about 36" long X 19" deep X 21" high. So about 60 gallons.

Those are interesting dimensions, it looks much larger than that. Anywho, very nice looking setup.

that is one sweet looking lil midas.

I really like

i remember someone having an oscar a while back that did something similar. he had his lights on a time and when they'd come on it sit there and shake for a minute then take off all over the tank

Sounds similar but different. Mine could care less with the tank lights, it's when the lights in the room go out that he gets spastic.

I'll make another one here in a couple days, once I'm back in the same state as the tank...
