My mom is an ED teacher. Kids can be nuts. She would have to put kids face first into the floor and sit on them. They even had a patted cell. This was an Elementary school. Point is, some kids are just plane crazy and need to be restrained. My mom had to have surgery twice from those little brats. She's been bitten, kicked, and spit on too. My mom wasn't some crazy teacher either. She received teacher of the year after dealing with those red headed step children. And yes, I have heard of kids being handcuffed in the classroom. Cops are called, that's what they do. They don't have time to be wrestling with some 8 year old. One pair of cuffs, two hands behind the back, chest to the floor, and knee to the back. Thats how ya get things done.
