whoa, i did a little reading and "Certainly they are the most venomous of all fishes". Just tell your mom that you'll take every precaution with them.

Yeah. She had to of course been watching the discover channel, and the show on was one of those, 'Most toxic venoms' and of course they showed the guy who was stung by his lionfish and went through unbelievable pain for an hour or so. And even though I say I will be very careful, of course the guy on the show said he was always careful, but just that one mistake and he was venomated. So, until I get my liscence, and learn how to drive to the store that sells them, its no lionfish for me. But, i'm happy with my sea robin though...
