Judging by that dorsal, I would say you have a male. Nice fish!

Are these fish fairly easy to breed in aquaria? How is their conspecific aggression in terms of breeding, do they beat on eachother between spawns like most CA's or do they bond for life?

Only V. argentea breeding I've seen on the net. As you can see, both the male and female have long dorsal and anal fins.

They just helped cement the fact that I can't sex them at all.

I'd still like to know how their conspecific aggression is between mated pairs - i.e. are they like midas where a male will kill a female when she's not gravid - or are they a bit less tempremental to where the male will do a bit of chasing and bumping until the females all set.

They hate all other veija...Seeings as there is such a low number of hobbyist, to have them spawn, we are writing the book..... did you read the thread in the link Modest-man posted?
