It's hard to believe that little guy turned into such a big and colorful fish. I saw some of these at a LFS today. I may snag one for myself.

so did you get them? First time hearing them being in lfs..

oh and him growing. It went a lil somtn like this.

I didn't get them, Animal Guy. I honestly didn't know what they looked like as adults until I saw your post. The ones at the shop looked like your first pic. I don't have the tank space for them either. The LFS that has them has a good collection of cichlids. I would need a house of tanks to get everything that caught my eye. Yours is looking really good. It is a very fine cichlid!

I just picked up a few more I had 5 and picked up another 6 lost a few FedEx truck 6 hours late. They are great fish, get along reasonably with each other ,and larger fish. Now I have some unrelated. I hope they turn out like yours.

He is beautiful! I have a group of 8 Breidhori that are only 2". Can't wait for a male that hopefully will look like yours!

I used to have a male. Great fish until my trimac murdered him.
