Regani, Argentea, Brehidori, and Zonatus would have to be my faves of the group. Aquamojo has the best Zonatus that I have ever seen. I did have a promising young Argentea but lost it in a terrible water change incident.
 
My favorites would have to be argentea, regani, and synspillum. Tough genus to keep in a community setting IME.
I agree. I was unable to pull off a successful community of this type but I have seen it done by others. I guess I lacked the magic touch.
 
I have a small argentea that has a nasty temper for being only 3.5" maybe a little bigger now.... I think what helps a lot is to introduce them into an established tank with larger fish.. Thats what worked for me...

Tie between Synspilum and Argentea. Had to get rid of mine because they were nipping on my oscar.

breidorhi is my favorite,but i own(at the moment)breidorhi,regani,argentea,synspilum.
Had zonatus and maculada(black belt)both got highly aggresive
