Vieja diet

I don't want to start this argument again but what is the deal with southern delight? Why do people think it's any better than NLS, it mind as well be Hikari.
I've had good results with feeding southern delight but nls I don't think is any worse. Southern delight seems to have really good ingredients with a lot of fish, greens and vitamins before all the other filler crap

I'll be feeding both a 50/50 mix of both southern delight and nls for now on though. The southern delight veggy krill is good stuff, real good main ingredients along with the power feed. I like the power feed for my growouts. All my fish have real nice color using southern delight. But nls is just as good I think.

I'm certainly not going to question your feeding techniques with Melanura that look as good as the one in your avatar :)

Ya every fish I have are quite colorful and love the southern delight I feed them. That melanura in my pic is the lake peten strain but his colors have always been more vivid then the others since he was just 1 inch. Not sure if the diet or genetics have more to do with it. The guy that introduced me to southern delight feeds his umbees and all his fish it and they're amazing looking

Also the growth rate has been pretty ridiculous while feeding my fish southern delight, so not sure why "some" people think feeling this food to their fish is garbage haha. Nls is still real good but don't see the argument where southern delight is horrible.

I don't know if anyone thinks its horrible per se, but I do believe that NLS has slightly better ingredients. Or at least a lack of less good ingredients.

I like Xtreme pellets. Not as much solid matter left in the tank when I feed Xtreme. And I feed Freeze Dried Krill a lot, too.

I like Xtreme because the variety that I use contains green peas as well as a bunch of other veggies but imo it breaks down too fast.
