Hello. I have a black belt and a synspilium that has paired off and just had fry. Does anyone have any idea what they would look like when matured, im guessing a flowerhorn type but any info will help. thank you

Interesting as it might seem to keep these hybrids, I personally would not let any of these leave your tanks as they may throw even more confusion into this hobby of ours. Thats why when we go into a shop to buy a fish some of us wonder what we're getting and so much confusion exists. Keep this hobby pure.... Look at the MiDevil complex! In 1980s and 1990s fish were what they were.... no confusion no questions. Now we struggle to understand what is a Real Trimac!
By all means keep one or two for yourself - I've got a Firemouth Ellioti hybrid that I call a Firmouthti but there's no room for hybrids in my personal opinion. I loathe Parrot cichlids and even though I've own a few, I also dislike Flowerhorns! These fish - they pollute the natural gen pool
