Vieja Maculicauda and paratheraps synspilus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hello. I have a black belt and a synspilium that has paired off and just had fry. Does anyone have any idea what they would look like when matured, im guessing a flowerhorn type but any info will help. thank you

Awesome. Yeah not gonna be a flowerhorn. They are of the same genus, which as stated will produce fries that are gonna be hard to identify as what exactly, so remember to make sure to label them as a hybrid, always. Else it'd get confusing.

Apparently tho, this cross isn't that uncommon. Here's a vid of apparently a pair of the hybrid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmBv2tQP0c

P.S. Hybrids pollute the gene pool but inbreds diminish it. :P
