Slow, very slow. I want say that it's been even slower because this little scrapper has been to the brink of death twice now in a year. It won't tolerate any other fish, regardless of size or aggression. Been like that since 3". I got it at the size of a quarter and is now about 7". Taken about 16-17 months to achieve that.
 
Very nice! So he has a tank to himself? Guess I got lucky with my guy. He gets along fine with the Oscar and other fish. Fingers crossed he stays that way.

Yes, for now it has a 55g all alone. It's finally home will be a 125g. I love this fish, he or she will be with me till the end.
