Slow, very slow. I want say that it's been even slower because this little scrapper has been to the brink of death twice now in a year. It won't tolerate any other fish, regardless of size or aggression. Been like that since 3". I got it at the size of a quarter and is now about 7". Taken about 16-17 months to achieve that.

My 9 inch female is pretty mellow saying that she does not tolerate any type of pleco. She is in with a four inch male convict. She will chase him from time to time but most part they get along
