I had a group of these for about 4 years. They do tend to bloat and require very clean water and a strong current. Dan Woodland told me at one point they were very difficult to catch as the Rio Copan is a very fast flowing body of water. I believe out of 3 or 4 trips to get some only one was successful (I think that is the trip mine and the others out there came from). I got my group from Mo and sold off the last 2 females to guys that had males (Cichluvr and EMK). I believe both spawned but raising the fry is tough from what I've heard. I love this fish and hope to be working with them again soon but they do require TLC, IME.
