Wow very nice! what camera? btw are you a member of the cichlid room companion by any chance? that tank looks familiar.
The camera is just a canon point and shoot, nothing to serious. I would like to buy a DSLR though, so i can have the option of using overhead flash photography. Cheers for the comments guys.

awesome fish and tank! can you give some more info on the driftwood/branches like type and preparation? everything looks so natural!

good job, sir.
i got my rio nanchatal gold / black backs from conkel a few weeks ago. they are still kind of skinny but i'm power feeding them.
to be honest i think i like the natural version of the regani more, like yours!
good job there. i am feeding mine NLS, ocean nutrition formula 2

how many times a day do you feed? yours looks very chunky...

Have you any photos yet?

I feed my fish around 3 times a day. These regani's are eating hikari gold/staple, veg flakes and tetra prima granuals. When they reached around 3, 4" i started to add chopped mussells to their diet. The fish in the photo has shown the most noticable growth though.

These were just over an 1" when i had them, what size are yours?

i'm gonna work on getting pictures. the tank they are in isn't the most photo friendly. it also doesn't help that they are still somewhat shy and only come out during feeding times.
mine were around 5-6" when i got them a few weeks ago. i haven't noticed any significant growth, but the female is starting to fill up nicely. the male is getting aggressive and is starting to chase her around.
chopped mussels, eh? i guess i am probably going to be lazy and continue the pellets. i feed mine twice a day or so.
i got an argentea from conkel before - also came in somewhat skinny. took around 2-3 months to really fatten him up.
