gorgeous pictures! O_O and great looking fish also

How do you manage to take pictures like that without getting some kind of reflection from the aquarium glass?

Wow, they have come a long way since when you go them. They will be real stunners in a year. I take it aggression stays low too?

Thank you. Not much aggression within the group, only a little with the two seperated fish, but this can be expected.

Thank you. Photos are taken with off camera flash gear placed above the tank. This will illiminate any flash reflection and also gives pin sharp action/movement shots.:)

Lee,

I remember seeing your tank on Practical Fishkeeping first, and am glad to have finally located your tanks again. You are literally an inspiration to me, and I have aspired to create tanks not even half as good as yours!

Can I ask where in the UK you are located? i'm in Scotland, just south of Edinburgh.

Thanks, Joe.

Cheers Joe,

I'm quite away south down in the West Midlands. Most of the time you can find me here: http://www.eacichlid.co.uk/index.php with newer photos and updates of the tanks and fish.

A lot of the older photos got accidently deleted from my account, so a lot are missing.

Did you catch my last article on centrals in the Nov edition of PFK?

Regards,

Lee Nuttall.

Just an update. Finally got the confirmation that these are indeed Rio Sarstun population.

A few extra photos.

very nice, turn out for you, remind me of my one guy...took me a long time to find one with the color that was good enough for me, he is turning out nice, cant wait to see if yours start pairing off, and their behaviour etc,
One of my favorite things on these guys oddly enough is the color on their upper and lower fins, the blue and yellow soo nice, hard to capture how nice it is in person.

good thread :)
