There are quality Vieja Melanurum ‘Belize’ in Australia that look identical to the OP’s. The problem in Australia is the difficulty to get new blood into the country once it has been hybridised with other Vieja / Species. It is the same with Geophagus. Amphilophus Trimaculatus was almost lost to the hobby here due to hybridisation and the flowerhorn craze. StunningBeautiful Vieja here is my Belize shine spot. Anybody have an idea on sexing this beauty, I was leaning towards male because of the slight hump but I have no idea.
