I'd like to see someone take a crack at sexing the damn thing. It has a blocky head so I'm gonna say it may be a male. This species, along with most Vieja and Paratheraps species, is hard to sex IMO. How long is it?
It is a nice-looking fish for sure.

Absolutely a beautiful and sexy Bifa. I have 1 thats just about the same! Only smaller...

I would guess male because of the blocky/stocky head. Grab him and flip him over to see his naughty bits! Take a pic as good as you can and we'll tell!
