i seen a real nice 6-7" veija synspilium today and i have tank space for it so shall i get it?

it was out the back and had just been put in the tank this morning so if i am going to get it i will get it around tuesday or wednesday if i do get it.

what is there aggression like? what compatibility?

yeh looked pretty nice. in a 100g tank with a big oscar.
 
yeh, but will the festae tolerate it? any1 got any idea on growth rate?

what sex festa and what sex veja? i have 1 female veja syn and 1 female festa and they did not like each other at all. the veja had a little bit more size on the festa and i had to remove the veja but i think if you have oppisite sex then they shouldnt go at it like mine did. i dont know how to sex a veja but i knew it was a female cause it was pairing up with my male texas.
 
i dont know what sex the veija is, i didnt get a good look in. it will be a pair of festae but people were teling me to do JD's n stuff like that with them soo..
 
a big and colorful species i've seen a few and once they get over a foot there VERY nice show fish the males have much more red around the face and they get that hump head which doesn't look to bad on them sorry don't know how aggressive they are i've heard they work we'll with other large cichlids as long as theres no other vieja in the tank how ever all the large males i've seen were in there own tank but i think thats cause they were show fish

so you want tank mates with your pair of festae? that could be dodgy, i would say have a hospital tank spare just incase, havent you got a 120 to put the festae in the use the 150 as a community
