how are the argentae to keep ??? are they picky on water like ph and such ?? i love the look of them and hope to get some one day so any info on them would be great. thanks guys

Anyone have any suggestions on tankmates? Cichlids or non-Cichlids?

Not hard to keep it's just that they grow slower than all the other vieja's I have. It took my female almost two years to grow from an inch to 8".

BTW, I gave my female argentae to one of the members here for a breeding project. He has a very nice 11" male.

i have the same questions as angler. also can you keep a pair in a 125? are they hard to breed ???
