OK i've been doing research and found an exotic vetinary clinic in washington that has these. Apparently you can only get them from the wild? And have recently been bred and the first batch of 100 is here in washington? Not to be confused with the white-lipped tree frog. Not the mossy frog either. Apprently this frog reaches up to 14 centemeters which is close to a softball.... like the white-lipped tree frog... which is from Australia..... Has anyone heard of this frog and what is the rarity of it being found in the US? Any information would be wonderful. Thanks!

As far as I know the White lipped is the largest but they may have found new species or maybe a strain of Hyla annectans may get that big?

Well i took a look at them yesterday and they are apprently a new captive breed. Imported of course and don't have a species name yet. Anyone interested i'll post pix ones i got the new home set up and will be trying to get a pair to eventually try to breed....

I would like to see the pictures.

very interested in some pics

i am not sure if it is real or not but i can tell some really realloy cool frongs and herps of all kinds have been comming out of Vietnam for sevral years now

Just a few years ago they first described two large antelopes in Vietnam so fist sized treefrogs would not suprise me a bit.

yeah should be getting them on saturday or sunday i'll post. I'm excited to see these things.... he showed me pictures of them on his camera.... but the pictures where to small to determine.
