You guys can have your elevated ponds...... I have something a little more interesting planned...... A VERY large TANK from the basement, POND from upstairs.

LOL.... My pockets are shallower then the puddle of antifreeze I'm standing in right now.

Thick ass acrylic to put a skylight in the middle of my livingroom floor to look at my "plain ol pond" in the basement?

Look at the displays used in car audio shops when they have amps mounted in the floor of the showroom that you walk across..... That acrylic isn't all that thick.

My pockets are only as deep as my wife lets them be LOL. These 4 jags are not that bad to feed, they eat 1 lb of shrimp and 1 lb of scallops a week.

I probably need to find a good stud marble for these pretty females I have. Right now there choice of mates are an aparicio and a mantilla. Would love to see a aparicio marble cross in the future.

Did Jimr lose some rays? I haven't heard anything about that yet.

I am going to elevate my pond about 12 inches so I can run drains in the bottom of it.

They must be small Jags....LOL mine is probobly eating that much a week herself. But then again she's probobly growing almost an inch a month.

I think with rays of that quality you should try to keep them pure, BUT the cross you speak of would definetly be sweet.

I don't know if I should have even said anything about Jim's rays.... Not really my place, but beings you have a pup it may affect you like it did me. I had full intentions of parting with mine till I found out the parents had passed. Now that lil fella will stay with me for good. And if you do NOT feel the same way PLEASE lemme know ASAP. I'd gladly give you twice what you paid....

The elevated pond idea is great. Now that I have a pond I understand the importance of drains.... As you can't really siphon out a pond too well.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to build one. I NEED to redo mine but need a concrete idea first.

NEVER happen. It would be nice..... And I like to set goals fairly high, but I have no problem admitting there is no way I could ever swing something like that.

Besides.... That wouldn't be ghetto enough. I have some hick in my genetics.....
