views on hand feeding?

I think if you do it right, and get them used to you, it should be no problem..

Hand-feeding stingrays is an attraction on ocean cruises.. These stingrays get used to being hand-fed by humans and become very docile. You would think you would hear more accounts of injuries from these excursions, but you don't.

Still Risky.. just be careful.

never under estimate them.
The slightest shock could trigger a sting if you are not alert.
If you have been doing it regularly, it ok as the ray knows what to expect.

deffo plan on doing it when they feel comfortable and learn my hand is good.

I feed mine by hand, but they all come to the top of the tank to get food. I wouldn't feel comfortable feeding them on the bottom or petting them.
