You name it, I have probably heard it...Only metal I don't like is metalcore....

I don't even consider metalcore metal. I am annoyed by all the genres that just add core to it anyway though. The only one that should exist i think is hardcore, because, it is a real word. I also think that new metal, which is literally spelled "nu metal," is crap. None have any instrumentals worth anything and the vocals are usually through a filter. Blagh.

i listen to a lot of hardcore and death metal probably some different bands than all of you im probably a younger generation than you guys

See, i wouldn't consider any of those bands hardcore at all. Hardcore wood be HOODS, shark punch, older bury your dead, etc. Those are part of the new stuff that is very hard to put in a genre. Not hardcore, not metal, bits of metalcore...hmm.

Not to say i don't dig bands like that though...

I would say Sworn enemy and of course Hatebreed are Hardcore, "New York Hardcore." August Burns Red is pretty awesome, I would not call them metelchore. I would just saw metal. As Blood Runs Black and Whitechapel are also very good. Whitechapel is just insane, the only thing I don't like is most of the vocals. I mean it still sounds good, but death metal grunts just get old, they do not stick out at all like Hetfield, Heafy, Laihou, etc.

yeah i love breakdowns i own a emmure shirt and acacia strain is tight to, i think sharkpunch is just funny, lets go to mcdonalds after the show, nah man i just want a burrito.

Whitechapel and As Blood Runs Black are deathcore. Old Whitechapel isn't good imo...its got too much breakdowns...The new stuff is much better.
