Dmac- love the second pic of your fowleri head on. I will try to get more pics when he gets more acclimated. Actually Vince posted some pics. of the same catfish in the catfish forum. Check those out and let me know.

Ivan- the only reason why I don't think that the knife is the spotted version because even the albino's show the spots and or rings. The one that I have has no spots at all and is solid like the Chitala lopis.

I don't think they're C. lopis.

What you have is most likely the "true" albino clown knife.
 
I haven't seen any of the "true" albinos without the spots.

So, I guess they're not so common.

BUT, there is a possibility that it is a C. lopis. They're commonly bred for food, so perhaps these albino variants started showing up in people's tanks.

Yeah, me either. That's why I think it is a C. lopis. I well get more pics of it tonight when I get home from work.
