A vinegaroon isn't venomous or poisonous, although it is capable of spraying acetic acid from its "tail".Bsixxx;2686387; said:are vinegaroon's poisonous? or have a stinger of some sort, or is that another arachnid/insect i am thinking of?

Yep, I caught her.channarox;2686848; said:nice vinegaroon.
you caught it?
lemme ask you something,do pedes and such hate mealworms?
cause it seems like nothing loves eating mealworms.
my old monitor never ate mealworms, only crickets...

My pedes love eating mealworms, especially the newly moulted white ones. For my defanged ones, I pull the heads off the mealworms before giving it to them, while for my centipede with intact fangs I just put the mealworm in her enclosure and she'll kill and eat it. My vinegaroon doesn't seem to like mealworms though.
Everytime I get a new pede, I feed it more than usual, since they're always so skinny and underfed at the fish shop. I normally feed my established pedes about 3 mealworms a week. Sometimes they get an additional cricket.channarox;2689952; said:hmm...
gonna check on my pede now.
see if he ate the two mealies i gave him...
ive heard feed every 3 days is healthy, but how many mealies to feed per feeding?
hes 5-6 inches.
Yeah, it's a jumper. I collected him.Ben268;2689981; said:I love the Plexippus paykulli, is it a type of jumping spider? and did you collect him or buy him?
