Well after looking at how Vicious did his leo's tank it inspired me to head out and redecorate my leo's tanks to make them more appealing to the eyes.

Here they are before:

Still trying to figure out a constructive way of hiding the pots, but I think it's a huge improvement. Using some aquarium flourescents designed for growing plants, we'll see how they work out. If not I'll probably switch to somthing with a high UVB output to see how it goes - all of the plants are succulents that are listed as requiring filtered indirect sunlight.

Let me know what ya think!

much more appealing to the eye!! i like them either way though.. plants are always an upgrade! how do the leo's like the new decor?

They've been crawling around checking things out, my more active one is already digging her new pits to lay out in and the fatter girl seems content to actually pirch on top of some of the plants and kick back.

Only been in a few hours, though. So I'm sure they'll return to their reclusive ways sooner or later.

Hey it looks much better with the hides, plants and decor. I'm sure your geckos like it too. I don't know if you have one already, but you're going to want a fluorescent light for those succulents to thrive well.

I've got a flourescent designed for growing aquarium plants in there right now, if they don't work out I'm going to try a 5.0 UVB flourescent instead and see how that goes.

I purposely picked low light requirement plants, though. So hopefully everything works out.

How often do you change your sand out?

looks way better then before
