Sunday I went to visit my friend with the large aquariums to empty his two ponds and help clean tanks. Some of the pics.

The pond he's in yielded hundreds of baby mayans and a few baby citrinellum. 4 of the 10 citrinellum adults, a mayan, a huge blue acara, and one of the oscars were the only big fish that survived an influx of bad water. He's "panning for cichlid babies" in one pic.
The other pond yielded a large jack dempsey, and 7 or 8 huge mayans, but no fry. It was so weird that one pond had so many babies and the other had none.
