very impressive :D

Baby alligators yes, crocs no. He raises them then turns them loose on a preserve area.

The tank he's in is about 2600 gallons.

The pile of plants on the deck is anacharis. We probably had about 8-10 piles of it like that. It had to be pulled out to be able to track down the fish in each pond.

3 red bellies were alone in the pool to the right. They were quite intrigued when we added the citrinellum, mayans, oscar, blue acara, jack dempsey, and green terrors.

Oh, and the shoal in the big tank are huge silver dollars.

He keeeps pirianhas that close to a large pond, I would imagine one good rain would liberate those red bellies into the pond...............

No, they are kept inside. They weren't in the ponds. They were in another tank. He moved them to the pool to use the tank for about 300 butterkofferi fry he rescued from his large fiberglass tub (probably 1000 gallons).

Crazy kewl man!! Being in the South, the weather opens up tons of opertunities for us! I can't wait to start diggin my pond(s) and raising fish!! Gonna be pimp!! Get some more shots of the indoor massive tank please! Wicked kewl!! Makes all our tankz look small!!

awesome!

Yah, they range from 5-8" in diameter. Look like a swimming silver plates. If you saw how big the flagtail prochilodus are you'd pee your pants. Not to mention the foot long leporinus!

I'll have to ask him about the butter fry. The adults that are left, he lost 3, are huge. What's the going rate for butter fry?
