vita shell

anyone ever hear of or use vita shell on your turtle(s)? is this something that should maybe occasionally be used, never used or always used? good for both babies, and adults? whats the scoop on this product?

I've used it occasionally when some new turtles I've acquired had chipped spots or other abnormalities on their shells. Seems to work pretty good.

I personally never use it. It stops the UVB lighting your turtle should have from having proper exposure to the shell, so it can cause shell problems. It also can stop the scutes from growing properly.
