Vittatus going price.

This was my old vittatus and I now have a chance to buy it back but the seller is asking a bit too much I think. He's about 8-9", pellet trained and the seller is asking $300. How much are vittatus going for? I'm located in ontario canada and they are some what rare here especially at this size.

300 for an 8-9 VATF is a little steep... why don't you grow one out? Won't take you only a few months to get a small one to that size

Yeah I was thinking $300 was a bit too much. I would grow one out but I've got a 8" armatus and I don't want there to be any problems.

Have you seen how much a Payara can stuff into their stomach? Would you be willing to take that risk? The Army grows a lot faster and will eventually be big enough to swallow the ATF. I've had a 6" Scomb swallow a 4" ATF. The most expensive lesson I ever had.

The lfs i work at is selling them for $150 at 5" or so.

I got a 4" or so from wes with rare fish for $125 a month or so back. .
