"Voodoo Strain" Cuban Cichlids (A wor

I don't know cuban color patterns well enough to weigh in on whether or not this is a strain. If it is a bloodline with unique characteristics then it indeed is. If it's just a nice pair of cubans then it's not. A good example of a strain would be the black widow frontosa, which was reportedly produced through inbreeding.

Either way the fish are nice and the pics are great!

Well the goal here is to enhance the main markings on the gill plate and come up with larger, bolder, and more intricate patterns. The bigger the better. Also to gain taller bodied and stronger profiles are just a few of the objectives.

I'm currently working with 4 different bloodlines, all contributing a different trait. You'I'll be looking photos of several different specimens here and not just 1 pair. Thanks for the compliment.

I usually keep smaller fish, but your photos make me want a pair of these.
