Unfortunately, spotted raphs are rare in my area. I've only seen one (and I kind of wish I had got it...#regrets lol) in our area. However, Striped Raphs are very common, so I can do a striped raph colony and jewels. That might be interesting. The thing is, though, will the Jewels stay mostly on the top/middle?

4 ft long, 13-14 inches wide, 20-22 inches tall (I don't remember the exact dimensions, but those are the closest I can think of)

They would use all areas but they will stay at the bottom to lower middle unless you are near and they want feeding. The majority of cichlids act this way to avoid predatory birds etc.

Nope, jewels are bottom-ish. But should work with the proper scape
